IIT Palakkad Technology IHub Foundation (IPTIF) is a Section 8 company incorporated by IIT Palakkad in 2020. IPTIF is one of the 25 TIHs supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber Physical Systems (NM-ICPS). IPTIF is focused on creating a vibrant innovation ecosystem for technology product development, skilled human resource development and tech-led entrepreneurship development, all by leveraging the strength of IIT Palakkad’s expertise and infrastructure.
Currently, IPTIF is focused on supporting the development of the Intelligent Collaborative Systems (ICS) domain with a special focus on driving automation in Energy and Safety Sectors. The other areas of focus include applications of cyber-physical systems in the domain of Healthcare, Automotives, Agriculture and Defense. IPTIF is also building linkages with Industries and R&D institutions within and outside the country to collaborate in translating technologies under development into market-ready products.

We will provide the required knowledge, skills, and real-world experience to academics, innovators, and innovation-driven startup ecosystems so that they can succeed in research, skill development, and technology product development.
