UYARE 2.0 - Technology Development Funding Program

UYARE (Unified Youth Advancement in Research and Entrepreneurship) is a special technology development funding program to support development of technologies and products in the IPTIF focused domains with Grant-in-Aid funding. The UYARE 2.0 program is specially designed under the Tribal Special Area Plan (TSP) budget from NM-ICPS to support academic / research faculty from Scheduled Tribe (ST) Community and/or Development or Implementation of Technologies /Products which will directly benefit the Tribal Communities.

UYARE - Technology Development Funding Program

𝐔𝐘𝐀𝐑𝐄 - Call for proposals from Academic innovators, Startups and Industry (Applicants from ST Category) for Technology /Product Development in the domain of Intelligent Collaborative Systems, Energy, Safety, Automotives etc. This has a Grant in Aid Support upto INR 10 Lakhs and mentoring support. Alternatively, Technology development or implementation projects in the above domains with direct relevance and benefit to Tribal areas and community from applicants from other categories would also be supported.

UYARE - Product Development and Entrepreneurship Training Program

𝐔𝐘𝐀𝐑𝐄 - Product Development and Entrepreneurship Training program for ST students. Students from Science & Technical education streams after 12th Std and/or Diploma stage are invited to join a 6-months residential hands-on training program at IIT Palakkad. The training will be mainly in Mechanical Designs, Fabrication, Electronics, Programming, Soft Skills, Communication etc. This also includes an opportunity of a 3-months internship / finishing school project at IIT Palakkad / IPTIF or other industries to become Industry-ready at the end of 6 months. Each selected student will be paid a monthly stipend of INR 10,000 per month along with food and accommodation for 6-months.
