Job Description:

The Skill Development Manager will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs to meet the skill-oriented demands of the market. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the industry/corporate requirements and be able to develop new courses to cater to those needs. The Skill Development Manager will also be responsible for onboarding new mentors and training new trainers to effectively deliver the designed training programs. Additionally, the Skill Development Manager will onboard new satellite centers and ensure that their training programs are running smoothly.

Scope of the job
  • Analyze market requirements and design training programs to meet those needs.
  • Develop new courses to cater to skill-oriented demands.
  • Continuously follow and report the advances in the technologies globally to improve the course content
  • Onboard and train new trainers/mentors to deliver the designed training programs effectively.
  • Onboard new satellite centers and ensure their training programs are running smoothly.
  • Connect with HR of different industries to forecast their future job requirements and provide input to IPTIF to prepare students for hire by corporates.
  • Collect problem statements from industries and connect solution providers to deliver solutions in a timely manner.
  • Attend various job fairs and industry meets and events.
  • Generate leads for IPTIF and help to grow the training program.
  • Establish an agreement and certification process to ensure that the training program is effective and meets industry standards.
  • Forge strategic academic partnerships to facilitate the transfer of knowledge, promote research and development, and support workforce readiness.
  • Build strategic international collaborations with organizations from around the world to facilitate knowledge exchange, promote cultural understanding, and drive global innovation.
  • Work closely with industry leaders to develop solutions to pressing challenges, promote knowledge sharing, and drive innovation.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The ideal candidate should hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor’s degree in Technology (BTech), Master’s degree in Computer Applications (MCA), or an equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in skill development, training program design, and implementation as part of a Technology Driven Organizations is a big plus
  • Strong understanding of industry/corporate requirements.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in forging strategic partnerships with academic institutions and international organizations is a plus.
