Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the innovation hub. The COO will ensure that the hub runs smoothly, efficiently, and effectively while meeting the hub’s mission and goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and have a deep understanding of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Scope of the job

Including but not limited to

● Operations Management: Oversee and manage all operational aspects of the innovation hub, including facilities management, human resources, financial management, and administration.

● Team Management: Lead cross-functional teams and manage personnel to ensure the successful operation of the hub.

● Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.

● Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively and efficiently to maximize impact and achieve the hub’s goals.

● Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage potential risks to the hub’s operations.

● Stakeholder Management: Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and the community.

● Budgeting and Financial Planning: Develop and manage the hub’s budget and financial plan in collaboration with the finance team.

● Collaboration: Collaborate with the CEO and other senior leaders to align operational activities with the hub’s mission and goals.

Eligibility Criteria

● Master’s degree in business administration, entrepreneurship, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.

● A minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Skills Required
